When Wondergirl meets Punggolboy, a story ensues. This blog shall document that story. Come what may, through the good times and the bad, we shall remain true and honest to ourselves, and to each other.

"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in." (52) - Morrie

Tuesdays with Morrie is now my favourite book, thanks to you. I try to find meaning in my life by drawing parallels with quotes from beautiful books such as Morrie, and even more from song lyrics. Perhaps its a futile attempt to define life, because those quotes are certainly not my own and one can argue that I only select quotes that seem to applaud my life. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's indulgent. Maybe so, but I'm drawn to these words nonetheless. A good quote makes me smile. Very much like how you make me smile.

You have been great today. I held your hand, and I was happy. I told u a joke - usually at the expense of Zira or lembaga hitam (haha) - and when you laughed, I was happy. Like Morrie, you taught me things. I learnt so much from you and today was no exception. My favourite 'lesson' today?
my side, my side, my side, my front, my back.
my side, my front, my side, my back, my side, my front, my back

Anyway, back to the quote at the beginning of this entry. Let love in. Unintentionally or not, the word love was never spoken between us thus far. And I'm totally fine with it. Because love is sacred to me, and something I'll only say when I really mean it. But for the most part, my feelings for you right here right now have grown, and for the first time in months, I feel like you're letting me in. Slowly, but surely.
Remember those walls I built
Well, baby they're tumbling down
And they didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make up a sound

I found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now

You asked if I trust you. I'm beginning to. In time, baby, you will have all of me. And I will only ask for all of you in return.
